BrightBlue, a new German service provider offering network operators a turnkey IPTV solution, has opted for content4tv for the supply of TV distribution rights.
The rights package acquired from the German TV carriage rights provider covers free-TV, pay-TV and international channels, multiscreen rights for smartphones and tablets as well as non-linear rights such as catch-up, restart and time-shift.
BrightBlue, which emerged from fibre-optic network operator group Deutsche Glasfaser, offers its IPTV solution unveiled at trade fair ANGA COM 2018 to network operators both as an end-to-end white label product and in customised modules.
“With our modular IPTV product, we want to offer small and medium-sized telecommunications companies a turnkey IPTV solution that is affordable. This means they are not dependent on the expensive end-to-end packages of the major providers,” said Peter Kamphuis, managing director of BrightBlue. “We are looking forward to working with content4tv: Their extensive channel offerings are an excellent addition to our IPTV product portfolio.”
Martina Rutenbeck, managing partner of content4tv, explained: “The increasing competition for TV customers requires high-performance broadband networks with attractive and advanced IPTV products. We are therefore particularly pleased to support BrightBlue’s activities with our comprehensive TV packages and add-on features.”
